Module 2 of 8
Your First Tiny Win
Motivation comes after action — so we manufacture a win on purpose.
You've probably heard that you need motivation to get started. I've got news: it's backwards. Motivation doesn't come before action — it comes after. You do a small thing, your brain notices you did it, and suddenly doing the next small thing feels possible.
So this module is gloriously practical. We're going to manufacture your first tiny victory on purpose — shrink a task down until it's almost silly, do it, celebrate it, and keep the receipt. By the end, your brain will have brand-new evidence that you are someone who follows through.
Your lessons
- ✓Lesson 1: Shrink It Till It's Silly
Any task can be broken down until the first piece feels almost too easy — and “too easy” is exactly where starting lives. - ✓Lesson 2: The Two-Minute Start
Starting is the hardest part of everything, so we make the start ridiculously small. You have full permission to stop after two minutes (you probably won't). - ✓Lesson 3: Celebrate Like You Mean It
Your brain remembers what you celebrate. Marking the win — even a tiny one — teaches it to want more of them. - ✓Lesson 4: Keep the Receipts
A running list of your wins becomes proof on the hard days that you are someone who follows through.
A moment to reflect
What did your tiny win teach you about what you're actually capable of?
