Module 2 · Lesson 4 of 4

Keep the Receipts

A running list of your wins becomes proof on the hard days that you are someone who follows through.

There will be a hard day. Not maybe — will. A day where the mean voice comes back and tells you that you never finish anything and nothing ever changes. On that day, you are going to need evidence, and memory is a terrible witness for the defense.

So we keep receipts. Start a "wins" note on your phone, or put a jar on the counter with slips of paper in it — whatever you'll actually use. Every time you finish a now-step, it goes in. "Cleared one counter." "Made the call." "Asked the question before touching my phone." Small, dated, undeniable.

Then, on the hard day, you open the note or tip out the jar, and you read the proof: look at all the things you did. You are someone who follows through — here's the paperwork. Add today's win. It's official now.

Your Now-Step

Start a “wins” note on your phone, or a jar on the counter with slips of paper. Add today's win. It's official now.

A moment to reflect

What did your tiny win teach you about what you're actually capable of?

Private — these notes never leave your device.

“Move forward.”
