← Module 2: Your First Tiny Win

Module 2 · Lesson 3 of 4

Celebrate Like You Mean It

Your brain remembers what you celebrate. Marking the win — even a tiny one — teaches it to want more of them.

This is the step everyone skips, and it's the step that makes the whole thing stick. Your brain is a pattern-matching machine: whatever gets celebrated gets repeated. Finish a tiny task and shrug it off, and your brain files it under "meh." Mark it, and your brain files it under "do more of that."

So when you finish — the counter, the two minutes, whatever your tiny version was — say it out loud: "Done. I did that." Feel ridiculous? Good, that means you're doing it right. Do a little victory dance in the kitchen. Text a friend. Put a gold star on the calendar like you're seven years old.

I won't tell a soul. But your brain will remember, and tomorrow, starting will be a fraction easier. That's not magic — that's just how we're wired, and we're finally using it on purpose.

Your Now-Step

When you finish your tiny task, say it out loud: “Done. I did that.” Feel free to do a little victory dance. I won't tell.

A moment to reflect

What did your tiny win teach you about what you're actually capable of?

Private — these notes never leave your device.
