← Module 7: Asking for What You Deserve

Module 7 · Lesson 1 of 4

Everything Is a Conversation

The mindset shift — prices, fees, and terms are starting points, not verdicts. Asking isn't rude; it's normal.

An honest reminder

Lived experience, not licensed financial or legal advice — for anything with real weight, talk to a qualified professional.

Quick question: when was the last time you accepted the first price without a flicker of negotiation? The phone bill, the insurance renewal, the contractor's quote — most of us treat prices like weather: something that happens to us. But prices are made by people, and people can have conversations.

Here's the mindset shift: asking isn't rude. Companies expect it — they literally have departments for it. “Is there anything you can do on this rate?” is one of the most normal sentences in business. The person on the other end hears it fifty times a day and thinks nothing of it. Only you were treating it like a scandal.

Today's step is just noticing. Identify one bill or fee you pay that you could ask to lower — circle it on your Module 6 list. You're not calling today. You're just training your eyes to see prices as conversations waiting to happen. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Your Now-Step

Identify one bill or fee you pay that you could ask to lower. Just identify it. Circle it on your Module 6 list.

A moment to reflect

Where in your life have you been accepting the first offer — and what would you ask for if you knew you deserved more?

Private — these notes never leave your device.

“Learn your gifts.”
