Module 3 · Lesson 2 of 4

One Thing, Not Ten

A to-do list of ten things is a guilt list. One priority a day is a plan you can actually finish.

Be honest: how many of your to-do lists have ten things on them, and how many of those ten ever get done? A list of ten is not a plan — it's a guilt delivery system. You end the day having done seven perfectly good things and feeling bad about the three you didn't.

So we flip it. Every evening, you pick ONE thing for tomorrow. Not the ten things. The one thing that would make tomorrow a win even if everything else went sideways. Write it on a sticky note and put it where you'll see it first thing — bathroom mirror, coffee maker, steering wheel.

Everything else you do tomorrow is bonus. Bonus! Imagine ending the day having done your one thing plus three extras, instead of ending it having done seven things and feeling behind. Same day. Completely different feeling. The list didn't change your life — the frame did.

Your Now-Step

Tonight, write tomorrow's ONE thing on a sticky note and put it where you'll see it first thing.

A moment to reflect

Where in your day does the now-step habit fit most naturally — morning, midday reset, or evening wind-down?

Private — these notes never leave your device.

“Learn your gifts.”
